Premises

MedExpress Williamsburg purchased the old building in the heart of Williamsburg that has housed a bank since 1959, adding 2000 square feet to the existing structure. The old building that people had put their trust in since 1959 has found a new life as MedExpress Williamsburg.

The old infrastructure of the brick bank was retained but the interior has been redesigned to house a state-of-art medical clinic. A new modern atrium entry to the building on the northeast in the parking lot is made of bronze reflecting glass and steel with exposed interior steel beams, a marriage of the traditional and the high tech, a perfect metaphor for the practice.

The interior is designed to provide the tranquility of a spa. All appointments are first class in neutral colors and natural stone and wood.

The bank vault was retained and its two feet thick reinforced concrete walls now house the digital x-ray equipment.

There are 9 exam rooms, a beautiful waiting room, a laboratory, x-ray, office space, and employee use space.

MedExpress Yorktown is the newest addition to the MedExpress family. It is in a brand new building in the Grafton area of York County, one of the fastest growing areas on the peninsula. MedExpress Yorktown is right on Route 17 with easy access for anyone from Gloucester all the way down to Hampton and all of York County.
All of the medical facilities in the structure are state-of-the-art from the large private examination rooms, to the expansive laboratory, to the modern digital x-ray room.
As with MedExpress Williamsburg, there is ample free parking, a beautiful waiting room with large windows to let the sunlight flow in, and a tranquil spa like atmosphere inside with neutral colors and natural stone and wood appointments.
