Our On Site Technology

MedExpress physicians and medical staff are proud of our extraordinary credentials and our state-of-the-art facilities.

Our physicians are medical doctors who specialize in emergency medicine. Combined, they have over a half century of experience in hospital emergency departments in the Williamsburg area, and years of experience in hospitals outside the area including New York City, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Our registered nurses have extensive hospital emergency department, pediatric and intensive care experience, and our digital X-ray department is staffed by Certified Radiologic Technicians.

We treat most ILLNESS and INJURY. If the patient has a life-threatening illness or injury best suited to the equipment and services of a hospital, he should proceed directly to the hospital Emergency Department. These would include heart attack, stroke, severe bleeding or severe trauma. For a more complete listing of the illnesses and injuries that we treat, please see What We Treat.

We give PHYSICALS, VACCINATIONS, and select IMMUNIZATIONS. We do physicals for sports, work, back-to-work, pre-employment, school, insurance or annual check-ups. We give vaccinations for Hepatitis and for Bacterial Meningitis. We also have Tetanus shots, PPD, and when available, flu shots.

We offer our CorporateCare Occupational Medicine Program, which is available on contract to local employers. Through this customized program, we supply our employer clients with prompt treatment for their employees, including on-the-job illness and injuries, as well as physicals, lab work, X-rays and minor surgery. We also provide comprehensive pre-hire examinations which include testing in our own on-site facilities.

With the convenience of the patient in mind, and to ensure the speed of diagnosis and treatment, we provide on site digital X-rays, EKGs, IVs fluids administration, lab, minor surgery, and splinting. There is no need to leave the building for most diagnostic examination or treatment such as minor surgery or IV fluid administration or splinting of fractures. For details see Our On Site Technology.

We are pleased to accept most insurance.
